1. Never apply blue because it will distract attention from your eyes.

2. The brown eye shadow is not a good idea too. It will do the same as the blue hint.

3. As brown and blue the gold color won't look good if you have blue eyes.  But if you have a tan you can wear it. As an alternative, silver can be used.

Make up Tips For Dark Brown Eyes
There are many shades of brown eyes. So, it will be beneficial to think in terms of some color wheel theory if you want to enhance your eye color.  The colors opposite each other on the color wheel are the complementary, and work to brighten each other: red + green, orange + blue, purple and yellow.

First of all you should determine what shade of brown your eyes are and then choose the eyeshadow which will brighten the brown. For example, if your eyes have a yellow tinge it will be nice to use an eye shadow with a purple tone.

It is also great to play with colored eyeliners, for instance, dark brown eyes look stunning lined in shades of plum (mix with a pale mauve shadow), aubergine (mix with a shimmery light pink shadow), raisin (mix with a mushroomy soft brown shadow) or charcoal (mix with MAC vex frosted eyeshadow - looks amazing!). But don't forget to add a lighter shadow or your eyes may look more dramatic.
