Creating Emo Make up

* Face Tint: use a hint of subtle color across the cheekbones. To apply the blush, pick up a small amount with a fluffy powder brush and dust it onto your cheekbones. However you should do it carefully, it shouldn't actually look like blush.

The lips color should be chosen according to your preferences. But it should be simple and understated. Some women prefer to apply nothing at all on their lips. However it will look good if you add a bit of shimmer but remember that your eyes and lips shouldn't be equally dramatic. If one feature is accentuated the other should be left in the background.

*  The best choice is a gloss without color and choose it with a flavor to add some fun to the mix.

* Give the preference to soft colors such as pink which can add shine and perk up your lips without drawing attention to them.

It is not very difficult to apply emo make up. However your look shouldn't be fussy or overly deliberate. You main task is to apply reasonable amount of liquid eyeliner.

1. Apply an eye shadow base all over the eye lid to make a clear canvas for your make up. Due to this your make up will last longer.

2. Apply dark eye shadow generously all over the lid. Choose a shimmery, lighter gray and apply it in the crease to achieve an ombré (or color fading) effect. If you want to add more color, use red, purple or forest green as an accent color which should be used on the outer corners or at the brow bone.

3. Take a liquid eyeliner and apply it below the lashline. Try to apply the line as closely as possible to the lashes.

4. Apply a few coats of mascara.

5. Add a bit color to your cheeks and blend it thoroughly.

6. Use a pale gloss for your lips.
