Cleopatra is always a fun look for a dress-up ... Feel free to embellish on this Cleopatra interpretation with your own style! Apply a sheer dewy base - blend outward from the centre of your face, and set with a loose luminous powder. Depending on your eyebrow shape extend your brows in a straight line (as straight as poss.) with a medium - dark brown or charcoal pencil, brush lightly to soften line. Apply eyeshadows: metallic sapphire blue on lid, extend olive green to contour + a soft gold to highlight (or variations of this to suit your style) And also you can apply a black liquid liner snugly along your lash line and extend to meet the contour colour extension, line under your eye with black kohl and softly extend by smudging outward. Be sure, lots of mascara + false lashes will really set your makeup off!
Contour your cheeks with a deep bronze blush. Outline your lips in a dark brown or very deep vampy berry - make the top lip pointier than your natural curve, and fill in with a deep rusty plum, highlighting in the centre of your top and bottom lip with a gold gloss. To really glam the look up, you could also add some sparkle - either gold sparkle highlighter on the apple of your cheek, sweeping it up to your temple or dotting some lash glue from the outer corner of your eye, following your eyeliner extension upwards and outwards and add some tiny diamantes... A short black bob wig finishes the look - straight or braided (check out your local wig shops for purchase / hire options :) Have fun making up!
